The study analyzes the phenomenon of placing the predicate before the subject in the poetry of AL-Habal. It aims to trace its patterns, identify its forms, measure its semantic implications and benefits, and assess its appropriateness and harmony with the contexts in which it appears. To achieve these goals, the study employs a descriptive-analytical approach to examine the instances and uncover the meanings. The research is divided into two main sections; Section One: Mandatory predicate- fronting. Section Two: permissible predicate- fronting. The introduction addresses the importance 0f this stylistic feature within the Arabic syntactic system explains its structural nature, and includes a brief overview of the poet and his collection. The study concludes with several findings, most notably: the poet skillfully employed the phenomenon of fronting and delaying elements in his verses to serve intended meanings and create balance. His use was not arbitrary. The research also demonstrates this the semantic implications of this phenomenon are too varied to be exhaustively listed, as they shift and renew depending on context and rhetorical situation. It highlights the crucial role of contextual analysis in uncovering the meanings behind such syntactic choices.
