Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in strengthening the private sector's role in mitigating the negative impacts of war on schools in the Amran district, from the perspective of school principals. To achieve this objective, the study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology. Data were collected using a questionnaire administered to a population of 154 school administrators through a comprehensive census method; 145 valid questionnaires were retrieved for analysis. The study yielded several key findings: the levels of CSR practice, the activation of the private sector's role, and the overall mitigation of war impacts were all perceived as moderate. Furthermore, the results demonstrated a statistically significant role (α ≤ 0.05) for CSR in mitigating the impacts of war. Notably, the private sector was found to play a vital and partial mediating role in this relationship, accounting for 67.4% of the variance in the dependent variable. This confirms that the private sector serves as the most influential executive mechanism for achieving tangible results. Based on these findings, the study recommends the design of a national partnership framework that includes corporate incentives, while urging the private sector to adopt strategic visions for social responsibility that transcend direct financial support.
