Abstract

The study's problem focuses on the following main question: What is the impact of the war on forcibly displaced persons in Yemen during the period (2015-2019)? From this perspective, this academic paper primarily aims to identify the impact of the war on displaced persons in Yemen. The study was based on the hypothesis that "there is a direct relationship between the continuation of the war and the growth of the phenomenon of forced displacement in Yemen." Based on this hypothesis, the problem was
described and analyzed in terms of its causes, size, and the conditions of the displaced. The study also examined the contributions of international organizations in meeting the needs of the displaced and the problems they face in delivering aid to those who deserve it. It also examined the extent of the war's impact on the displaced in Yemen. The study concluded: Proving the validity of its hypothesis that the war in Yemen has left behind a number of problems, the most important of which is the growing phenomenon of forced displacement, which has had repercussions on stability in Yemen in all areas, and that displacement will escalate as long as the war is still raging. The military intervention of the Arab coalition had a significant impact in increasing the extent of destruction to lives and property that befell civilians, increasing the number of displaced persons, and prolonging the war in Yemen. Therefore, the problem of forced displacement represents one of the biggest humanitarian challenges facing Yemen at
present and in the future.
