This research aimed to identify the role of training programs in improving the performance of employees at the General Electricity Corporation in the capital city of Sana'a, by analynng the level of employee benefit from traimng programs in their various dimensions (identifying training needs, designing training programs, implementing training programs, and training content), and the level of improvement in the performance of employees in the field of electricity. The research used a descriptive analytical approach and relied on a questionnaire as a tool for collecting data from a research sample consisting of 219 employees at the General Electricity Corporation in the capital city of Sana'a The results showed a high level of efficiency and effectiveness in performance, and that training programs contribute effectively to improving efficiency (skill acquisition, understanding of work, task facilitation, stress tolerance, problem solving, competition development, and efficient use of resources). The design, implementation,
and content of the programs play a strong moral role in improving performance.
