Abstract

The study aimed to determine the impact of the application of the occupational health and safety system (OHSAS:18001) on the performance of employees in Sheba Pharma and shavaco pharmaceutical companies, and to find out the level of the application of the Occupational Health and safety system, and to identify the level of performance of employees in the two companies. The study community represented from all employees in Yemeni pharmaceutical industry companies (shavaco Pharmaceutical Industries, Sheba Pharma Pharmaceutical Industries), numbering (700) individual, a stratified random sample was selected, which amounted to (335) individual, and (317) valid questionnaires were recovered for analysis, and the study has reached many results The most important of which is that: the two pharmaceutical manufacturing companies under study are paying great attention to the application of occupational Health and safety (OHSAS: 18001) in all its dimensions, and the study also found that the level of performance of employees in the two pharmaceutical manufacturing companies under study washigh, and the study showed that there is a statistically significant impact of the application of occupational Health and safety (OHSAS:18001) on the performance of employees in the two pharmaceutical manufacturing companies under study.
